ABOUT MI VIDA NÓMADA

I never set out to become a nomad. I just kept leaving.

I was kicked out of home at sixteen. Somewhere along the way came Ibiza, Hong Kong, Bangkok, Jerusalem, Australia, America and most of the places in between. Backpacking became touring. Touring became a career. And what was supposed to be a few years of avoiding a conventional life somehow became several decades.

There were good decisions. There were spectacularly bad ones. There were beaches, backstage passes, police stations, five-star hotels, hostel floors, missed flights, questionable substances, extraordinary people and more than a few situations that seemed like a much better idea at the time.

Mi Vida Nómada is where all of that ends up.

The memoir tells the whole story. The Grown-Up Backpacker is for people who still want to see the world but no longer want to sleep above a nightclub with eleven strangers. Before It Became Shit looks back at the places, scenes and cultures we discovered before smartphones, influencers and VIP tables changed the game. And the Journal is whatever happens next.

This isn't a website about finding yourself.

I wasn't lost in the first place.
